The Area Plan Commission and North Vernon City Council has approved the comprehensive plan. The plan has been submitted to OCRA for review and final approval.

Initial Recommendations

Public Hearing
The initial goals and objectives will be presented at a public hearing. This public hearing for the North Vernon Comprehensive Plan will take place at an upcoming Jennings County Plan Commission meeting on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 6 P.M. The meetin will be held at the Jennings County Government Building Mtg Rm located at 200 E. Brown St. in Vernon, Indiana. |

The edited comprehensive plan will be submitted to the steering committee for approval. |

Presentation to the City Council
The council will review the final comprehensive plan. The final plan will be presented to the North Vernon City Council on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 7 P.M. at the North Vernon Education & Training Center in Elsner Hall. |
